Top Innovator 2018 and Packaging Award
In the view of Böllhoff, innovation is a key factor for growth and employment. The inno-
vations of today are the driving force behind the success of the company tomorrow. This
is why, since 2012, we have continuously positioned our innovation management system
on a broader base.
The plan here is to not only optimise the innovation process at the company, but also to establish
a lasting culture of innovation in the minds of all employees. Nowadays we regularly reward inno-
vative solutions submitted to the company and additionally cooperate in numerous research pro-
jects with universities and scientific institutes. We are positioned in the market as an innovative
company and assist our customers with pioneering solutions right down the value-added chain.
The prizes awarded in 2018 are confirmation that the innovative strength of Böllhoff is recognised:
Top Innovator and German Packaging Award.
TOP Innovator 2018: Award for innovation management
Böllhoff is one of the innovation leaders among Germany's SMEs. This has been confirmed by
award of the title “Top Innovator 2018” in the framework of the TOP 100 competition.
To be named as a Top Innovator, a company has to combine special innovative strength with
above-average success in terms of innovation. The judging
panel was in particular won over by our in-house innovation
management system. Product innovations such as the
PARRYPLUG , which is designed to prevent tampering with

the screw drive recess, also came in for praise.
The TOP 100 trophy was awarded to Managing Director
Martin Schnitker and Head of Marketing Johanna Neumann in
Ludwigsburg on 29 June 2018. “The TOP 100 title immediately
demonstrates our innovative strength and future competitive-
ness”, was the positive conclusion of Dr. Jens Bunte, a member
of the Board of Management and technical director of the
Böllhoff Group. “We will continue to strive towards innovative
solutions with the aim of helping customers with optimising
