Digitalisation, the fourth Industrial Revolution, Industry 4.0 or Work 4.0: The
debate as to how companies must adapt production and prepare employees
for the future world of work is becoming increasingly complex. At the same
time there is discussion about the issue of internationalisation or the shortage
of skilled staff. The Böllhoff Group is constantly adapting its strategy regarding
the question of Industry 4.0. We are identifying aspects that contribute to
initiating future-proof investments. We are looking closely here and implement-
ing systems which advance process automation and can be applied on an
international scale. Examples of our approach are described below under the
heading “Innovations and investments”.
