               introducing a new transport management system, we are now facing up to the challenges of the
               market and will in future digitalise goods flows outside our logistics centres.


               In addition to Track-and-Trace information, which we directly provide to customers via platforms,
               we also use status reports from our carriers to proactively respond to events disrupting delivery.
               This is the case when for example carriers get stuck in traffic jams or conveyor belts fail at parcel
               service providers.

               Digitalisation additionally enables us to better plan and control the flow of incoming goods in our
               own supply chain. We stagger shipments arriving at our company by allocating delivery slots.
               Tracking information allows us to prioritise time-critical consignments and to respond to any
               delays or failure to deliver in a flexible and proactive manner.

               Lastly, the Böllhoff Group will take advantage of the options offered by the new transport manage-
               ment system as regards automating our delivery processes, with additional controlling functions
               permitting us to optimise freight costs here.
